A future for Humanity

MY GRANDCHILDREN ARE WORTH IT   and so are yours.

I may be right, I may be partly right or I may be wrong. Together without division we need to find out.

Who am I? Who are you? What am I? What are you? What is our purpose here?  Where do we come from and what is our destiny? All these questions, we can only attempt to answer fully if we look at each other and our species as a whole then go with what we know and our gut feeling. The gut feeling being inner instinct programmed from whatever source. Our species fails and we are all failures. Conversely, our species succeeds and we are all part of something successful.

Three areas we need to lift our game in.

Socially we are going backwards.

Environmentally, likewise we are going backwards.

In becoming the focal point for living, arguably present economics is dehumanizing the population. Rather than allowing us to focus on human issues, it is falsely dividing us into winners and losers; greater and lesser people. Many believe, it is not a question of if, it is a question of when will the present global economy crash.

My point here is, as a global community I think we are missing something in the way we relate to religion and what it has the potential to contribute. From tribal times it is part of what we are. Spiritual belief adds another dimension to our thinking. Also, get it right and it gives us a material resource we can use to build on in terms of turning the corner towards providing the politics, resources and ways of doing things for a safe world.

THE QUESTION

Wikipedia: 99.9% of the entire earth’s species are now extinct. Call me delusional if you like, however, within the grand scheme of things I just happen to think we are something special.

I put forward original ideas on the environment in the early 1980’s which are widely held today. Religion is almost complete. Consensus on resources and politics, largely I have still to do. I ask you to look into anything I may say or write properly before judging me for it. Simply, I am among the many who want to establish a world young people can believe in.

What should we believe that will best help humanity shape the world through the 21st century? I think that is a fair question, IT’S OUTCOMES THAT COUNT. In my mind the original Jesus stands up very well. If he was who he believed himself to be, the way forward toward a brilliant future for humanity is already in place. We simply have to find it. I would argue there is little evidence to suggest he either supported or refuted the recorded perceptions of his people in their entirety. Rather I think the modern day record suggests he believed his role was to lead his people and then ultimately humanity forward.

Ross Greville.  7/4/2013

IT’S OUTCOMES THAT COUNT   We need a religion that is believable and works for humanity. Find it and we have discovered a great truth.

If Christianity is about learning dogma that does not seem to add up and may have little or no relevance to the modern world, then I want no part of it.

If to be a Christian, is to believe one should follow the leader and be an active member of a master plan to make the world a safe place for all humanity; then it has my complete support.

To make it simple do we need a logo? Such as:

“SENT TO LEAD FORWARD”, written in words.

THE CROSS, symbolizing the personal cost to Jesus for what he did.

THE YOKE, symbolic of what he asked from us in return, i.e. He wants us to join his team and help bring about a world of his values.

ON A WHITE BACKGROUND, symbolizing the white light of eternity, his promise should we succeed.

My work is simply the best I can do on my own. With a group approach I am sure we could develop the following into a very good song.

THIS CAN BE LAYERED WITH THE CHANT BELOW

Care for your world, care for everyone

All people and faiths that abounds

Your future is only just begun

We are one world; we are one people

Under heaven in the sky

Under heaven in the sky

Call to all the people and all of mankind

Bring a little heaven to your world

For you, for me and all of our kind

We are one world, we are one people

Under heaven in the sky

Under heaven in the sky

Help your world when you die

Take a little heaven where you go

Just like when you are alive

We are one world, we are one people

Under heaven in the sky

Under heaven in the sky

Heaven in the sky heaven in the sky heaven in the sky

ROSS GREVILLE 1993-2012

ARE WE ON OUR OWN

A most obvious and pressing problem most of us see is; as a member of the western world, though we are still living through the most materially affluent period ever for humanity, the real danger is that the legacy we pass on will be a world economy that no longer works and radical climate change with a population that has no idea how cope and move forward.

Let’s not play the blame game but help find strategies that work.

I support the very old idea that though spiritually our space is dominated by an intelligence that often brings out the worst in us, the universal super intelligence is the opposite to that. Could this be correct?

If this is right you are talking to the boss when you reach out to the universe above you and you are listening when you find some answers as what the boss expects from you.

Good people take care of their health and sense of well being; they are the most valuable things they own. Take care of their environment; it is the most valuable thing they share with others. They understand the most valuable legacy they can pass on is these things that they value themselves.

What I am suggesting is, to become a super race and maintain ourselves and our world as we should, we need the support of a super intelligence. We cannot do it on our own. When you have a problem, it is cool to talk it through with the boss.

AM I RIGHT

It would seem that everything we know and understand is caught up in the process of birth, life and death. We are lead to believe the universe itself came into being with the big bang some ten billion years ago. Modern scientific thinking has us believe it could be described as clinically dead some trillion years into the future when the last of the galaxies are sucked into black holes at their centers.

The process of birth life and death, where does it come from and what does it all mean? All processes that have a beginning and an end must originally stem from something or some process that has no beginning and therefore no end. I cannot imagine anything else.

A belief in the spiritual has played a large part of human existence for tens of thousands, perhaps even hundreds of thousands of years. Undoubtedly religion is going to influence civilization well into the future; hence I think logically it is worth examining the riddle of life from this perspective. Let us try the perception of the man who founded the Christian faith. In my mind, much of what he said and did has been lost; also some of the record of his life and teachings has probably been distorted through time. However, more than any other, this one man provided the faith of the people who lead the technological revolution and dominated the modern world. Central to his teaching must be the idea that life as we know it is not all there is.                 To him, it would seem, our lives are only an apprenticeship to the real thing. Some pass the apprenticeship, some do not.

I simply ask are the following questions worth considering.

(a)A realm where there is no beginning and therefore no end, would this imply that nothing new can be created within?

(b)Should the answer to the above be yes, could the universe have been created to provide new intelligence in a way that the worthy might be taken on board and substandard discarded?

Most of us want to do what we can to help give kids everywhere the opportunity to live worthwhile lives then enjoy old age in a peaceful stable world. To this end, a worthwhile spiritual belief we can take on board with integrity must be high on the agenda of the needs of modern man.

 (c) Am I right in thinking, in all probability Jesus was simply doing all he could to lead people and their world to be part of what they were designed for.                      25th July, 2010

The following was originally written by me in 1998 and given to my nephew to place on a web site early the following year. At the time of writing I tended to agree with the many who might have considered it too divisive for the big stage at that time. It considers only a single view point of only one of many religions and modes of thought that share the thinking of our planet.

It was however a step along the way towards later original writing such as “Under Heaven in the Sky.” These are my original thoughts, and I would like to know of any similar writings preceding the date.      19/12/1998

JESUS CHRIST IN THE AGE OF REASON——   my thoughts

The fragmented biblical account of the two years of his ministry is given by four different authors. Each account differs considerably, yet in some instances complements each other. In my mind, the fact that the accounts are so different in parts and so similar in others suggests not that they are fabricated, but they are based on writings of four different witnesses.

Christians believe:-

God is a single identity.

God is a trinity, The Father, The Son, and The Holy Ghost.
God is of many parts, chosen people go to God.
The Devil, God’s opposition rules now.
God is infinite in knowledge and wisdom.

Logically, can we explain? Within the universe as we know it?

Perhaps we can.

The body is The Temple of the Soul – The body houses the soul.

When Jesus died it is written that the ghost left his body and became a separate identity. One way of explaining spiritual being is-

The body is chemical as is memory which makes up our personalities. Think of a negative, you can take any number of photos or positives from it. Consider this – the body dies, gives up its ghost, then at a later date the body is rein fused with life. Jesus Christ becomes two, his physical and spiritual self and the ghost that left this body at the point of death. The body is the negative and the soul or ghost is the positive.   One way of explaining the Trinity is- As part of life on earth, should we be asked to think of a universal Trinity, it would undoubtedly be the father, the mother and the child. This is the fabric of life itself, common to all advanced forms of life on earth. As part of life in the universe, should a trinity be any different.

If spiritual behavior is governed by laws of logic the same as everything else in the universe, it is not the Christ who bodily ascended into heaven that we go to. It is Christ, The Ghost that remained behind. Hence “The Holy Ghost” could become “The Holy Spirit” and eventually “God the Mother”.

Christ said “I go to make a place for you”

A single ghost could become a community of ghosts (A single spirit) that could continue to grow to become “God the Mother” to compliment a mother planet.
Our Father who is in Heaven, father to all believers and actually to all mankind.
Logically the only way this could be true is if originally man was created partly with extraterrestrial genetic material. I would suggest contributing to our physical, intellectual, psychological and spiritual being. Man being created in God’s image.

Sigmund Freud describes religious belief as the subconscious desire to eventually return to the womb from which we came. “God the mother image”

Could it actually be the instinctive desire of intelligent man not to go back to the womb from which we came, but to the god that if it were in place would support him through life? Go to the Mother God as our extraterrestrial ancestors went to theirs? We could be a dysfunctional world because we are at the present a spiritually dysfunctional world. In life, like people or like beings tend to group together. If we behave the same way after death, spiritually the world is fragmented, as divided as the past has been.

God has infinite knowledge and wisdom

If we are to suggest The Holy Trinity represents a family in the making, then perhaps we can make a comparison. One family representing man on earth could be compared with one family representing God in the universe.

With a spiritually functional planet, accumulation of numbers, hence the accumulation of power would always be with the mother God, or in the spiritual sense.

Where we have high concentrations of intelligence we will have a high degree of communication between concentrations.

The spiritual universe could be likened to a gigantic brain. Intelligence of a magnitude we cannot hope to comprehend.

For much of the Twentieth century the heavens have been searched for radio signals demonstrating intelligence that logically has to be out there. But none has been found. Could it be, not that we are the only intelligence in this corner of the universe, but that we are the only spiritually dysfunctional planet in this corner of the universe? In a spiritually functional world, the children of God could be in touch with their mother God which is in touch with the rest of universal God; there is no need for radio.

The wheat will be separated from the chaff.

If on earth we have to become more peaceful to survive, how much more critical would that be in the universal community. If the universal spiritual community is God, then it stands to reason that all individuals allowed into it must be of a certain standard.

Even the virgin birth makes sense if we are to believe a superior being, capable of leading the world needed to be placed here. Think about it.

“Believe in me and you will be saved” Makes sense if Christ’s breadth of vision encompassed the afterlife and the future as well as the present. However there is no record of his ever saying ‘Those who do not believe in me” or “those who never knew me will not saved”. Logically however God has to be selective of only people who can fit in, people who can effectively contribute to universal well being.

Jesus Christ believed in the devil-The Prince of Darkness rules for the present.

Many people do not believe in the spiritual world simply because we are not consciously in touch with it, but could that be because we are designed not to be.

If the devil rules then the majority of the present spiritual world is in opposition to us.

Certainly few people advocate the use of Ouija boards, devil worship or the participation in black magic.

Certainly geological evidence and carbon dating indicates the world was ruled by reptiles for one hundred and fifty million years before mammals took over.

Certainly many people advocate a belief in God in the heavens above.

Conclusion: If we are not spiritual beings and there is a pathway through the twenty first century for humanity, then I for one cannot see it.

Should we be spiritual beings? Then we are definitely part of a spiritual universe.

If this be the case, then I think mankind already has a long and brilliant future mapped out ahead.

However, we have to be able to take a common sense and practical approach to religious belief.

Humanity will have a place on earth as long as we can maintain the foundation of life itself. That is the interaction between earth, atmosphere, oceans and waterways.

MAINTAIN THE EARTH, KEEP IT FERTILE AND PRODUCTIVE.

MAINTAIN THE ATMOSPHERE AND KEEP IT UNPOLLUTED.

MAINTAIN THE OCEANS AND WATERWAYS, KEEP THEM UNSPOILED.

Universally speaking a superior intelligence could be expected to adapt, creating heaven within its surroundings and fostering its own immortality while continuing to evolve.

The critic doesn’t count; either the one who points out where the strong man stumbles or the doer of deeds could have done better. The credit does belong to the one who is in the arena, who takes up the worthy cause, whose face is marred with dust and sweat, and may err then err again for there is no human endeavor without shortcomings, who in the end at best knows the credit of high achievement or at least fails while daring greatly never to be among those cold and timid souls who know neither victory or defeat.
